A LITTLE BIT ABOUT ME
My name is Alissa and I am the proud owner of Nettleham Barkers, a 1:1 dog grooming studio based from my home in Nettleham. My love of dogs began at the young age of 8, when I got my first dog, Scamp, after years of begging my parents. My childhood was filled with muddy walks and cuddles on the sofa with my fury best friend, starting a lifelong love and obsession for dogs.
My dog grooming journey began in 2021, when I decided to take the leap and move to Scotland, here I volunteered at a local grooming salon to pick up the basics, before embarking on a 2 year long journey learning and working in various salons as a dog groomer. After a wonderful few years living and travelling around Scotland (with my lovely Shih Tzu Marley) I decided it was time to return back to Nettleham and set up my very own dog grooming business.
Here, 'Nettleham Barkers' was born...
Nettleham Barkers is the result of my passion for dogs, my commitment to kind patient care and my dream of creating a welcoming space where every dog feels safe, relaxed and pampered.

A bath, dry & brush out, perfect after those muddy walks or in between full grooms - finished with a spray of dog safe deodorising spray.(not suitable for double coated breeds)

PUPPY PACKAGE
Starting grooming early sets your puppy up for a lifetime of happy, stress-free grooming. The puppy package offers an initial meet & greet with an opportunity for your puppy to have a look around the salon, a little play time and some tasty treats to ensure they feel safe, relaxed and excited for future visits.
Suitable for puppies up to 6 months old.
